| Course completion requirements: Assessment and completion of the course: Graded credit test Continuous assessment: tests presentation presentations Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 51% out of 100%. Graded credit test Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. | Learning outcomes: The aim of the course is to give students the skills to solve problems in the physics. |

| Brief course content: Kinematics and dynamics of a particle, Newton's laws, impulse, momentum, work, power. Kinetic and potential energy, law of the conservation of energy. Mechanics of a system of particles and bodies, rotational motion, kinetic energy of rotational motion, moment of inertia. Oscillations, harmonic oscillator, resonance. Mechanical waves, wave equation, interference of waves. Kinetic theory of ideal gas, internal energy. Thermodynamics, work, heat, heat capacity, laws of thermodynamics, entropy. |
