Assessment and completion of the course: Credit test and examination
Continuous assessment: Student passes the continuous assessment and receives credits when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 21% out of 40%.

Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 31% out of 60%.

Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
Learning outcomes:
To acquaint the students with the knowledge of the differential and integral calculus of the functions with n variables, Laplace transform and the most useful methods of solving the typical problems.
Brief course content:
1. Series. Power series. Taylor series.
2. Fourier series and their applications.
3. Metric spaces. Analytic geometry.
4. Function of n variables, continuity.
5. Partial derivatives.
6. Taylor's theorem. Extrema of two variables functions.
7. Ordinary differential equations of first order.
8. Linear differential equations of order n with constant coefficients.
9. Introduction to line and multiple integrals.
10. Introduction to complex functions of complex variables.
11. Laplace transform.
12. Properties and applications of the Laplace transform.

Notes: To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to obtain a credit and successfully pass the exam.
