Course completion requirements:
Assessment and completion of the course: Credit test and examination
Continuous assessment: Student passes the continuous assessment and receives credits when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 21% out of 40%.
mid-term assessments on-line, configuration exam, 40% of the final evaluation
Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 31% out of 60%.
10% final exam

Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
Learning outcomes:
Subject represents close interconnection of the study programme with the industrial expectations in preparation of students for industrial certification of CCNP TSHOOT (642-832 TSHOOT - Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks). Student will learn how to troubleshoot large scale networks both for routing protocols and switched environment. Student will get experience in resolving design issues of the networks based on different dynamic routing protocols, interVLAN routing, using the wireless networks and different configuration concepts which are used during the network design process and in the troubleshooting scenarios.

1.      Planning maintenance in complex networks
2.      Models and methodologies for network change documentation
3.      Choosing the tools to resolve large scale network issues
4.      Planning the troubleshooting process
5.      Maintenance and troubleshooting in routed networks
6.      Maintenance and troubleshooting in switched networks
7.      Converged networks troubleshooting
8.      Security aspects of the converged infrastructures
9.      Metodologies for change/incident documentation in productional infrastructures
